Drum conveying with lockout station

The transportation of filled drums to an existing Drum Decanter Unit where they can be completely or partially emptied. The empty drums must be transported to a buffer place where they are then stored in a truck. The barrels that are not completely empty are sorted and transported to a separate place where they are removed.

For the recognition of full or empty drums, a tag system is used on the exit section. A transponder and a scanner are used. The tags are glued into magnetic holders which are placed by the operator approximately in the middle of the drum lid so that they can be read by the scanner mounted on an adjustable bridge over the roller conveyor.
